Industry 4.0 – News and Trends Blog has reached an agreement to become Media Partner of the event Advanced Factories Expo & Congress, the annual innovation summit for the industrial sector, to be held on 13th, 14th and 15th of March 2018, with a program full of innovations and the presentation of the latest innovations in manufacturing systems.
With the arrival of new digital technologies in the industrial plants and the good economic prospects, the processes of equipment renovation and the implementation of technologies to improve the competitiveness of our industry have been accelerated. For this reason Advanced Factories expects to receive in this next edition more than 12,000 visitors, to whom the organizers are designing a professional agenda for each executive and its management area.
The success achieved in the last edition has lead to a high increase of exhibiting firms. And in just three weeks, 50% of the space has been reserved to companies that present their innovations in the national market and have solutions that incorporate and integrate functions for the advanced and digital manufacture.
The organization has proposed to become the most important annual meeting, not only by the size, but also by the innovations presented and the professionals that gathers. The last edition managed to mark a turning point combining the world of industrial Automation and the Industry 4.0, which allowed to gather the most innovative companies in Robotics, Machine Tool and Digital Manufacturing, and also the technologies that provided solutions in Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence,Internet Of Things or Cybersecurity, among others. A combination that is driving the improvement of industrial competitiveness and ultimately provides lower manufacturing costs and new business models, and that, in the words of Albert Planas, Advanced Factories Director, “has approached Industry 4.0 real to the country”.
In addition, the organization has announced that the largest European congress on industrial innovation, the Industry 4.0 Congress, will repeat in Barcelona, in which top international experts will share the keys to implement new business models and deepen the latest technological trends of the advanced industry and the digital production systems, IoT or Artificial Intelligence.
Advanced Factories in its first edition gathered a total of 9.745 attendees from 25 countries who were able to see firsthand more than 300 innovations of the 200 participating exhibitors. The event also counted with the participation of 170 lecturers who, through the Industry 4.0 Congress, marked the roadmap for the design the factories of the future.
